FINANCE ASSISTANT:

Contract - 6 months

Surrey

FINANCE ASSISTANT - required to support the site finance team during the implementation of SAP and provide administration for finance documentation. The successful candidate will be working for a global pharmaceutical company with an outstanding reputation.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Good level of competence in SAP
  • Experience of working within a finance department
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters

Desirable:

  • Degree in financial accounting or relevant accounting qualification, such as AAT
  • Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook and computerised accounting software (GPS helpful)
  • Working in a veterinary/human health organisation

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining site adherence to the client's processes and procedures
  • Assisting in setting up and supporting the infrastructure to successfully implement SAP on site. This includes writing SOP's and generating basic work flows for new ways of working
  • Support the site finance team in the collection and analysis of finance and production data for financial performance reporting
  • To help in inventory reconciliation and month end financial transactions
  • A certain level of flexibility is required to support any other financial activities that may be deemed appropriate to the knowledge and skill of the individual to ensure adequate support during the SAP implementation project
