Site Engineer - Bucharest (Romania)



Site Engineer - Site Engineer is needed for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company in Romania to be based in Bucharest on a fixed term contract. Start ASAP. Applicants shall be eligible to work in Romania.



Responsibilities:

Respects and applies the work safety procedures, firefighting and health procedures for all entities involved in the project
Respects the safety norms and internal rules settled by the Client, complies with all legal requirements in force
Manage professionally a small group of subcontractors responsible of network deployments.
Provide technical support/on field support for NodeB's, BSC/RNC and power equipments (PSU-power supply units)
Performs site survey and design for equipment implementation at request.
Performs projects analysis and recommends solutions for new equipment installation
Performs equipment installation and commissioning as per agreed specifications for Power Supply Units (PSU), BS (base station)equipment, Microwave, 3rd party equipment.
Request, update and distribute the site materials list to Logistic dept in order to deliver all the installation materials and equipments to site, on time.
Solves any problems related to site engineer responsibility as per Trouble Ticketing Procedure
Continuously improve its knowledge about all the equipment and services.
Participate to all internal training sessions to achieve the best efficiency and accuracy
Attending meeting for the analysis of the activity regarding the reports to the technical dept. management on the situation and progress of the assignments.
Any other tasks may be assigned by direct supervisor or department head


Requirements:

Bachelor degree(or above) in telecommunications, electronics or computer science;
A sense of responsibility in work
Able to adopt frequent travel with irregular working hours
Extrovert and good communication skills;
2-3 year experiences.
Fluent in English;
Have driving license are preferred;
