Description
Purpose and Scope:To efficiently and effectively provide professional surveying support to the Project Manager and the site team, implementing commercial processes and systems on projects throughout the region, from tender stage to final account
Key Tasks:
links between Site Agents, Project Managers, Contracts and Commercial Managers.
Ensure commercial security and control of contracts throughout the project period
Subcontractor procurement and agreement.
External liaison with suppliers and customers regarding project progress and contractual issues
Production of commercial reports at intervals to be advised.
Accurate and timely cost value reporting and forecasting
Risk analysis and contro
Dispute resolution management
Advising and resolving contractual issues
Awareness of the estimating process and budget control.
Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
Compliance with company standard commercial procedures
To undertake any other reasonable duties as required
Key Skills:
Proven track record in a similar role, preferably within a Civil Engineering contractor
Practical knowledge of the standard forms of contract documents
Hands on experience in the preparation and review of monthly cost v value reports, + forecasting of cost and value
Good commercial awareness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular focus on contractual communication
Experience of disputes and dispute resolution processes
