My client, a renowned company based in Hertfordshire are currently on the lookout for an experienced Network Specialist (Infrastructure)The successful candidate will be expected to come onboard for a 3 MONTHS contract (rolling thereafter) to ensure the core network infrastructure is well managed to support business requirements & growth in addition to process improvement and to actively research, test & deliver to the business new technologies and services.
The successful candidate will also be required to co-ordinate and provide hands on technical assistance to colleagues across the department to ensure that services you are accountable for are fit for purpose, fully supportable & resilient.
As the role manages the foundations of the infrastructure the candidate requires a service orientated and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key skills the client is looking out for and primary daily duties include:
-Management of Cisco 7000, 5000 & 2000 series switched core network
-Management of 140+ site MPLS network including DMVP connectivity
-Ideally CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) qualified but will also consider Must be CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) qualified
