A Technical Project Manager is required URGENTLY to assist for a large 10,000 user - base NHS trust. They are undergoing a large amount of projects and require a Project manager to start as soon as possible to help specifically with their VDI deployment and their Windows 7 migration.

Although we are looking for a Project Manager who has good technical understanding of Infrastructure technologies, we are very keen to find someone who has a good amount of experience coordinating and managing people who are also working on the project.

The role

- You will be the Technical Project Manager helping the organisation move 3,000 devices onto VMware View from a fat client estate. You will need to ensure that you can deliver this to Prince2 standards.
- Plan and manage delivery of projects - including VDI, Windows 7 project
- Act as key point of reference between suppliers, users, IM&T Department and stakeholders
- Create and ensure project business cases.
- Ensure documentation, risk logs are all collated and maintained to trust IM&T project management framework

Location - Manchester
Start - ASAP
Rate - £275+
Contract length - 6 months

Essential Skills

- Previous NHS Project Manager Experience
- Prince 2 or MSP accreditation or evidence of working to frameworks
- Business case development
- Evidence of managing successful programmes

Knowledge
- Understanding of NHS IM&T Issues
- VDI VMware View and Infrastructure Project Management
