Presales Network ArchitectA leading London City based consultancy who are looking for a Presales Network Architect.
This is a contract requirement for 3 months. There may be a slight chance of an extension but this cannot be confirmed at this stage.
You will have the same background as this job description and this will be your current role.
All of your technology skills must be present and you will be expected to pass a scotland disclosure check.
Essential Skills:
Must Have Core Knowledge (Design & Product Knowledge):
Catalyst & Nexus Switching products
Cisco Wireless Technologies
Cisco Routing Products
One other Manufacturer Wireless (eg Aruba, Meraki, Meru, Ruckus)
Required One of the Following from a design perspective:
Cisco Collaboration Products (eg Call Manager, Jabra)
Cisco UCS (Welcome a DCUCD as a qualification)
Desirable one the Following from a Design Perspective:
NetApp Storage
EMC Storage
Nice to Have:
Active Directory 2008 or 2012 design skill
Knowledge of HP server Ranges
Knowledge of HP or Extreme Switches
ISR G2 Routing product knowledge
Daily Duties:
- Design, research, building a kit and draft documentation
- Putting proposal documents together along with online costing
Travel Requirements:
You will attend client visits, approx 1-2 times a week
Working Week:
Standard 37.5 hours per week
Rate:
£410 - £475

We are happy to consider candidates with a longer notice period than 1 week as it is important we find the right person to commit to this project.
