An Alameda based healthcare provider is currently recruiting for an Information Systems Specialist to join their team.Main Responsibilities
* Support hands-on troubleshooting and systems installation and maintenance on hardware, desktops, network printers and applications on Windows Operating Systems.
* Responsible for answering and triaging incoming Help Desk calls and electronic requests by the end user.
* Perform escalated call resolution and advanced problem resolution.
* Work collaboratively with other application support team personnel to resolve issues.
* Support Meditech v4, Logicare, 3COM HCA Terminal Server, Emdeon MediFax, MedAssist, Lawson, GE PacsScan RAD 1100, Nihon EEG 1200 series, SIEMENS Syngo Dynamics, PowerScribe, Centricity and configuration. Support SYSMEX XT-2000i configuration on network printers, application to read data to count, red, white cells and analyze data.
* Support the configuration on Security file path, data on SQL server, rights and accessibility for users used on CareFusion Guardrails CQI Reporter Suite MX v.9 for I.V. Pumps, ALARIS to run reports for patients and Drugs for Medications.
* Provide support on Doctor's Clinic using Meditech VPN Juniper remote access and configuration using and bridge transmission of HCA documentation.
* Document user issues/requests in the incident management web base application.
Qualifications and Experience
* Five years of experience in positions related to the area of information systems and/or systems development, software design and development, development of web-based applications, database modeling and administration, and health information management for health data analysis.
* IT related bachelor's degree
