Our client is a large educational organisation and they are currently recruiting an experienced Office Manager for a 3 month initial contract based in Manchester.

We are looking for an experience Office Manager with solid experience with Excel, MS Project and Visio. Your role is to establish a project management support facility to the Transformation Leads from Finance and People, Associates & Development (PAD) and support the successful delivery of the Corporate Service Transformation Programme through effective high level administrative support, planning, monitoring and reporting.

Knowledge

  • Advance knowledge of Excel, MS Project and Visio.
  • Broad knowledge or programme and project management tools and techniques and change processes
  • Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective and the role of an effective Office Manager
  • A general understanding of business in either a commercial or an educational environment

Experience

  • Previous experience of providing PMO/administrative support experience support to a change activity within a fast paced business environment
  • Proven track record of maintaining processes to better meet a business or departmental need
  • Proven experience of providing an efficient and effective support service to key stakeholders in order to achieve successful project outcomes

  • Presentation skills and the ability to communicate to a group of people
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to persuade and influence

  • Advanced user of MS Project and MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
