Vendor Manager. IT Procurement Business Partner, Vendor Performance Management. Financial Services/Commodities Trading. London.
My client are a global energy company with 1000's of people within their IT organisation. Due to increased demand from the business their is an urgent requirement for a Senior IT Vendor Manager to join the organisation and work closely with the group procurement and IT to define, implement and manage a strategic Vendor management solution. The successful candidate will have experience in negotiating large scale commercial IT contracts, defining appropriate supplier governance for 3rd party supplier management, defining key performance metrics to manage performance of external suppliers against the business needs, assessing demand for vendor services within a large and complex financial Services or Energy Trading business and implementing appropriate vendor selection processes. You will have experience working with both on and offshore solution providers that offer an IT/Technology based consulting solutions and be experienced in working as the point of contact for external vendor relationships within a large complex organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a large FTSE 100 business based in Central London and take ownership and accountability for selecting and managing large scale, Value Add, IT solutions providers.
