EMEA Marketing Manager

Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a EMEA Marketing Manager. This is a contract role running until 31st December 2014 based in Reading.

Team/Department Mission
The EMEA Marketing team is a key team within the overall EMEA Product Marketing team. Our overall mission is to become the leading games console platform, delivering amazing games and entertainment experiences for the company's specific consoles.
Our team are looking for the best candidate to deliver campaigns, plans, and programs for subscriptions and online gaming and entertainment fans.

Key Accountabilities
* Support regional positioning, messaging, and campaign execution across subscriptions and transactions such as: pricing, Flash sales, GwG attach
* Work with Global Product Marketing and EMEA Category teams to ensure that we deliver all materials need for digital and retail execution (including latest messaging for POS, training, owned channels, dash)
* Serve as the regional point of contact on team initiatives for specific country sales and marketing teams.
* Help implement marketing strategies to achieve the agreed business objectives, including some management of incremental budget for campaigns

Key Success Criteria
* Be considered the best possible support for our internal regional sales and marketing teams.
* To quickly establish a good engagement cadence with Global, EMEA Marcomms, and subsidiary marketing for the company.
* Positive feedback from all key internal stakeholders on the timing delivery of integrated marketing plans and tools kits.
* Establish business credibility with the key internal partners in Global, EMEA HQ and in regions to effectively deliver all marketing executional elements.
* To be considered an contact/expert/evangelist in EMEA for both Global and the EMEA subsidiary offices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Experience
* Proven responsibility for delivering integrated marketing campaigns in a European Product Marketing role
* Strong proven project management experience
* Good experience in creating and working on subscription campaigns
* To be a team player demonstrating co-operation and transparency in working with regions, subsidiaries, and functional leads in global marketing
* Strong business acumen. Demonstrate a full understanding of the key financial drivers within the business

Technical/Functional Skills
* In-depth working knowledge of the video games industry
* Excellent MS Office and MS Applications skills essential

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills
* Excellent communication skills, including ability to present in front of groups
* Strong customer orientation and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Passionate about driving for business success.
* Ability to inspire and evangelize through all forms of communications.
* The ability to negotiate or mediate disagreements competently, staying focused on the situation rather than emotions.
* The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.

Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in Business and or Marketing related field
* Strong Product Marketing experience

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
