A large investment bank in Jersey City is looking for innovative Sr. Java Developers to join their Prime Brokerage team to work on their Risk Margin Application. This company is currently hiring due to the tremendous growth that the firm has been experiencing within the last quarter.This group is looking for individuals that have the drive to learn new cutting edge technologies and the ability to think on their feet.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Java
-Spring/ Hibernate Frameworks
-Messaging (MQ, JMS, EMS)
-Webservices (Restful/ Soap)
-Prime brokerage experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Equities, Derivatives, Risk, Fixed Income
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 9 months + contract
Rate: Competitive Rates that will be based off experience

JOB SPEC:
- Minimum 10 year experience developing flexible, scalable and robust applications, supporting the financial services sector.
- Strong, sound background in securities finance and money market products is a must
- Experience in Prime Brokerage is a plus
- Experience in Margin & Risk - working with margin methodologies - is preferred
- Proven experience in design and development of large applications
- Deep understanding of database and middleware technologies, experience with MQ
- Experience in building scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of a large number of transactions.
- Experience in the following technologies is required: J2EE / Spring / Hibernate / JAX-WS
- Strong experience with Oracle
