Junior Developer C++ - Finance - CambridgeMy client are looking for a developer who will primarily focus on developing and supporting the C++ server side processes relating to the in-house system, but you must also be willing and able to do some web work. My client will consider developer with strong Java skills who are willing to code in C++. You will be joining a small team that does not have separate business analyst, testing or support groups - the developer is therefore expected to cover the entire product lifecycle. This is a very exciting role for a junior developer.
You do not need to have any finance knowledge but an interest in finance would be ideal. This is a fantastic entry level role for you to learn technology and finance.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Strong OO development experience in Education or Professional environment
- C++ or Java
- STL and Boost beneficial
- PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Ajax would be highly beneficial but not a must
- Good degree from a top 20 university
