My client, a leading tier one global bank, is looking for a Qlikview Developer to join their team in London. They are offering market rates on a 6 month rolling contract - with a long term view.Role: Qlikview Developer

Location: London - Canary Wharf
Duration: 6 month rolling.
The role is to work closely with Risk Managers and other EUC Developers to design, build, test, deploy and maintain reporting solutions that meet the needs of end users. The major functions of the job are:
* Liaise with Risk Managers to gather requirements and clarify any issues.
* Design, develop, test and deploy new reporting solutions to meet user requirements.
* Maintain existing reporting solutions.
Main Duties
* Development of reporting applications with an emphasis on QlikView and ETL.
* Interpreting risk data across different asset classes.
* Liaising with different stakeholders (Risk Managers, Risk Project teams, IT) in order to draw up work schedules.
Essential Skills
* Developing, testing and deploying documents in a QlikView Version 11 environment.
* Experience with rapid application development to meet strict business requirements in a Risk environment.
* Strong analytical skills.
Desirable Skills
* ETL using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server 2008 R2.
* Good SQL skills with an emphasis on experience with T-SQL.
* Proven track record of working with large datasets (1m+ records).
