My Client a pharmaceutical company based in South Dublin is seeking a Quality specialist to join there team.Maintenance and continuous improvement of a quality management system in the Uniphar Dublin facility to ensure compliance with the requirement of Good Distribution Practice, ISO 9001, regulatory and principal requirements.
Ensuring the effective implementation of a quality management system in the Uniphar Group.
Particular responsibilities include:
- Documentation: procedure writing and review, implementation of new procedures and policies
- Bona Fides checks on both customers and suppliers
- Management and inspection of returned product in a fast moving, GDP environment
- Training: including GDP and procedural based training
- Auditing: periodic internal auditing duties, auditing of external vendors
- Temperature monitoring
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment
- Validation: temperature mapping and software validation
- Participation in other projects/duties as defined by the Group Quality Manager
Experience:
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical distribution environment
- Experience of working with the HPRA an advantage
- Third level qualification in scientific discipline
- Internal audit experience
- Proven problem solving ability in a busy, fast moving environment
- Validation experience an advantage
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in an SAP environment preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, however can work as part of a team
