Embedded, low power, wireless, AssemblerI am currently looking for an embedded software engineer to join a client of mine on a brand new project, where you will be tasked with the design and development of a low power, wireless embedded system.
Location: Oxfordshire
Job Type: Contract
Rate: £35-£40 p/h
Duration: 6 Months
I am looking for someone with extensive experience of the full lifecycle development of embedded systems aswell as previous knowledge of working in a safety critical environment.
Key Skills:
- Development of embedded firmware in 'C'
- Good understanding of bug tracking systems (e.g. Bugzilla)
- Wireless and communication protocols
- Knowledge of safety critical environments (Aerospace, Medical, Defence etc)
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of low power radio systems
- Knowledge in 8051 assembler
- Processor architecture and peripherals
This is an immediate role and they are looking for someone to start on site as soon as possible.
