Computer Futures is working on behalf of market leading publishing company, looking for a highly experienced and skilled Qlikview Developer. The position is a newly appointed role, due to significant and continual growth across the business. The role itself will be based at in the heart of London, initially for six months with likely extension to follow.
The project at hand is to implement, develop & replicate Qlikview alongside an alternative reporting tool that is currently being used.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills & experience:
- 5 + years experience in Business Intelligence
-Expert experience in Qlikview development
- Proven and strong experience with data modelling and scripting in virtualisation environment.
- Strong data extraction, transformation, & loading techniques from various data structures & sources.
- Good understanding and experience of technology stack used (Oracle & QlikView); I must add extensive experience using Qlikview both development & analysis is essential.
- Further to the above, strong experience of RDBMS both in a SQL Server & Oracle environment.
- Development & analysis experience within Oracle to Qlikview migration reports is essential.
- Exposure in full life cycle & end to end Qlikview applications in both design & development.
- My client is ideally looking for someone who has worked previously the publishing space
- Apart of the project you will be required to work to a set deadlines both stand alone & working within a team.
- Strong both verbal and written communication skills are essential as the role is stakeholder facing, so you will be expected to lease with various levels throughout the business. Both technical and non-technical; to ensure a smooth transition.
