Introduction:

Role:
* Responsible to execute application migrations to our virtual environment following defined processes
* Execute Physical to Virtual migration using VMware Converter
* Disable Source System
* Install VMware Tools
* Disable Media Drives
* Ensure required Admin accounts are assigned/copied over via converter, on the virtualized server
* Boot up Target System on Vblock
* Install Qualification for Server Move from IGlobe to Connect
* Place workorder for extended monitoring if required
* Report on change executed
Requirements:
* Knowledgeable in VMware tools and Windows servers
* Need experience in Windows server administration (Win 2008, 2012)
* Need hands on experience in VM provisioning, P2V(Physical to Virtual conversion), V2V(Virtual to Virtual conversion), Template, Cloning.
* Basic understanding about vCenter tools.
* Basic Knowledge on VMware ESXi Host 5.1 /5.5
* Basic Knowledge on DRS, HA, VMotion, Storage VMotion.
* Fluent in English - oral and written
* Previous pharmaceutical experience together with GxP and SOX understanding is required
* Previous experience in Application Migration project in a regulated environment is a defining factor
* Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
* Ability to flow to the work and get hands on when needed
