Senior Audit Manager - Life and Pensions - Contract
Our client, a leading life insurance and pensions provider, are currently hiring for a Senior Audit Manager to join their team on a 3 month rolling basis paying up to £600 per day based in London.
You will be responsible for providing specialist independent assurance and insight for designated specialism and business area(s); acting as a business partner, develop effective working relationships with senior business management to drive outcomes that improve the overall control environment; provide specialist skills and knowledge to the wider Internal Audit team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Deep understanding of designated specialism, ideally with life and pensions experience Experience in working at senior levels within a large organisation. Experience of audit methodologies and processes, specifically the use and operation of control and risk mitigation strategies. Proven ability to lead and deliver an audit portfolio. Qualifications:
Degree level or equivalent education. Preferably a professionally qualified auditor. Professional qualification in area(s) of specialism. Skills:
Strong impact and influencing skills and the ability to work with and develop strong working relationships with senior management. Good team leadership skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good planning and organisation skills. Pragmatic approach and good understanding of business issues and pressures.
