Experience:
ITIL Subject Matter Expertise: ITIL v3 Foundation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to lead teams
2 to 5 years of experience in IT.
2+ years of experience leading ITIL implementations
Experience working with Remedy and ProVision highly desirable
Education/Certification:
ITIL v3 Foundation, preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, IT preferred
An additional five (5) years of Full time technical related broad experience can be substituted for the degree. (7-10 years total)
Responsibilities:
Identifies and documents cross-functional and/or cross-divisional requirements, IT functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications
Identifies and evaluates methodologies and processes currently being used
Introduces and supports industry best practices from industry and other organizations, such as ITIL into the IT support environment
The work results in the continuous evaluation of processes that lead to improvements in the IT service management process, initial focus will be on the Incident and Request Fulfillment Management processes
Develops simple business cases with cost & service dimensions of proposed IT projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions, includes implementation plans where appropriate
Provides guidance and coordination to clients in the planning, marketing, training and operating of automated systems
Designs and implements training programs for train-the-trainers, for clients of new and enhanced processes
Champions ITIL Processes
Develops and implements communication plans
Develops process documentation, initial focus will be on the Request Fulfillment process
Is mentored by higher level Business Consultants and Project Managers
Formulates KPIs and metrics
Leads working groups and teams
Makes presentations, leads meetings, and trains to tool and processes
Creates reports
Other:
Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships
