A leading medical device company is in immediate need of a Supply Chain Component Quality Engineer. Please read below for more information.The Supply Chain Component Quality Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Both oversee and work hands on within SOQ/SPICE programs in order to obtain supplier inspection data
- Perform inspection procedures for equipment
- Work cross functionally with engineer and inspector teams to determine further action for inspections
- Lead Measurement System Analysis, Test Method Validation and Gage R&R qualifications and validations
- Ensure final product meets all requirements and specifications
The Supply Chain Component Quality Engineer must have the following qualifications:
- B.S. in engineering or science field
- Minimum of 2 years working specifically with supplier inspections
- Minimum of 5 years experience within quality, engineering or related field
- Strong background in supplier management and quality systems
- Well versed in Minitab and Gage R&R analysis
