Safety Engineer (System/ Functional) - 6 month contract, MidlandsSafety Engineer (System/Functional) required for a market leading company for a 6 month contract based in the Midlands. You will be responsible for conducting functional safety activities for internal and external customers.

£200-£300 per day (DOE)

Essential skills:
Safety related system standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262)
Safety analysis techniques (e.g. FMEA, FETA , FMEDA)
Experience in systems engineering
Experience in requirement driven development
Desirable:
Playing a key or lead role in software, hardware or systems developments.
Job description
You will be defining system and sub-system level requirements, performing system design and review and performing hazard analysis. Risk assessments will be part of the role as well as performance safety analysis. You will also be required to review and assess embedded system design against safety requirements and also good practice.
