Environmental ConsultantWe are looking for an experienced Environmental Consultant to join a leading engineering consultancy for their offices in the incredibly scenic setting of Cumbria, not far from the heart of the Lake District. The role is ideal for someone with contaminated land consultancy experience, who would provide field supervision and technical support for ground investigations, site monitoring, risk assessment and remedial works for a portfolio of sites.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience field work of use and management of a range of drilling techniques/ monitoring borehole installation on large industrial sites
- Experience of report preparation for environmental monitoring, Ph 1/II/III assessments and remediation validation
- Strong health and safety practice for field work
- Supply chain liaison and management including contractors, drillers and testing laboratories
- Technical experience in remediation of contaminated land is highly desirable
- A track record in working on large chemical or nuclear licensed sites and similar contaminated land projects and relevant H&S training, would be a distinct advantage as would previous security clearance.
