Overview
Real Staffing Group are recruiting on behalf of a London CCG who require an interim IT Project Lead to support the roll-out of the Prime Minister Challenge Fund for extended access.
Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of general practice and significant experience of working with EMIS WEB clinical system and Telephony systems.
The IT Project Lead will provide technical expertise to ensure the delivery of IT solutions and extended primary care access across the borough. This will involve engaging with key stakeholders and providing support and training to a range of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT and Telephony work-stream
- Co-ordinate the implementation of shared IT solution
- Risk analysis
- Resolve queries and escalated issues
- Setup operational support arrangements
- Works as part of the service project team
- Produce documentation to support the delivery of pathway/service redevelopment
- Resolve practice/provider support requests
- Support and share best practice with CCG/providers
- Provide leadership and direction during the project
- Provide timely support to decision making
- Report to the Programme Manager
Essential Skills
- Degree/post graduate qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Worked with NHS GP Practices/GP Providers
- Project delivery experience (from design to completion)
- Implemented and developed EMIS
- Knowledge of GP services and GP IT systems
- Training staff
