OBIEE developerAbout the Job
My client is a market leading retail company based in the heart of London. They are searching for someone who is passionate about data and have worked in the retail industry.
The experienced OBIEE developer will be responsible to develop and maintain OBIEE 11g/10g and providing technical solutions in support of business objectives and ongoing operations.
Activities to be performed:
*Interact with different project partners to understand requirements & writing technical specifications.
*Formulate business requirements and translate into Logical and Physical Data Model.
*Staging, target schema design of data mart.
*Design & development of common data consuming process from NAS, error handling process, error reporting process, archiving processed data file process etc
*Design & development of different common ODI process which are going to use in entire project
*Involve in creating and administering the Physical Layer, Business Model & Mapping Layer and Presentation Layer using OBIEE Admin tool.
*Creating Dimensional Hierarchy, Level based Measures and aggregate navigation in BMM layer.
*Developing different custom reports/Ad-hoc queries using Oracle Answers and BI Publisher.
*Perform unit test, integration test and documentation
Skills / experience required:
1. Experience in the Retail industry is cruicial for this role as having a real understanding of how a retail company works will give you the edge.
2. over 4+ years OBIEE 11g experience in development and implementation of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing.
3. Knowledge of Analysis Design, Development, Customization, Implementation & Maintenance of Oracle BI Application.
4. Over 4 + years of experience in DWH and Oracle BI applications OR OBIEE and Informatica and DAC
5. Expereince on customization and configuration of Siebel Analytics, OBIEE 11g using Answers, Dashboards, Administration Tool(RPD), and Informatica
6. Knowledge of DAC (Datwarehouse Admin Console) is required and essential
7. Experience of setting up and configuring Oracle BI Applications with EBS is essential
8. Experience in Designing, implementing and maintaining ETL process
9. Excellent communication skills, organized and effective in delivering high-quality solutions using OBIEE 11g, OBIEE , Oracle BI Applications version 7.9.5, 7.9.6.
11. Expert in Oracle Data Integrator ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) and ETL/?Data Integration tool.?
12 . Financial, analytics experience will be an added advantage.
