Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Jacksonville, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.
At present there is an immediate requirement for an experienced IT Technical/Infrastructure Project Manager, to join a global Mortgage provider to work in Philadelphia. The role will see the successful Project Manager work on a large scale programme focused around the separation and migration of the current IT, Finance and HR systems, on to a new platform.
The successful Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for end to end application and system management, working closely with the technical SME's. Project Managers will be expected to devise planned tasks for Application Development teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Infrastructure PM in Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to track projects well and liaise with project team members.
- Candidate needs to relate with project managers, senior management and technical engineers and support staff
- Solid understanding of server hardware types, components and peripherals.
- Understanding of all Operating Systems (mainly Windows/Solaris)
- Appreciation of network terminology and protocols
- Understanding of Oracle, Sybase, and SAN Storage is advantage.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be expected to conduct regular meetings with application developers and key stakeholders to ensure accurate requirements gathering. In addition, the Project Manager is required to work closely with technical resources (SA's/DBA's etc) to understand application setup.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Project Manager within Financial Services.
