Senior Sales Ledger/Financial Processing Sales Ledger/Accountant

My Hampshire based client is seeking a Senior Sales Ledger/Financial Processing Sales Ledger/
Accountant for a 6+ month contract.
Key Tasks for the Senior Sales Ledger/Financial Processing Sales Ledger/Accountant:
* Ensure that all customer remittances are accurately recorded on the Baan Sales Ledger daily.
* Inform site finance departments of discrepancies in payments.
* Submit valid invoices to DBS Finance daily.
* Request and process 639's from DBS.
* Support the sales invoicing function in the workshops.
* Produce manual sales invoices as required.
* Liaise with the client's Commercial colleagues regarding invoicing and pricing queries.
* Attend to customer queries promptly.
* Provision of management information as requested regarding sales and debtors.
* Produce and distribute monthly statements to all customers.
* Deputise for Sales Ledger Manager where required.
* Ensure that the Sales Cash Control is clear at each month end, advising Sales Ledger Manager of any discrepancies.
* To undertake other Financial Accounting duties for which training will be provided.
* Process of invoices on Exostar and Lloydslink.
Experience/Skills Required for the Senior Sales Ledger/Financial Processing Sales Ledger/
Accountant:
* Experience of a computerised accounting system.
* Experience of Microsoft Office Applications.
* Window based ERP system practical experience preferably but not exclusively Baan
Desirable:
* Academic study towards a formal accountancy qualification.
* Knowledge of Lloydslink and Exostar .
