Description
.Install new instruments and sensors, run wiring and terminate electrical connections.
.Design, assemble, wire and install simple control and instrumentation cabinets.
.Perform instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance.
.Maintain calibration and maintenance logs, electrical drawings and equipment files.
.Manage inventory of spare parts for critical equipment and systems.
.Collaborate with engineers, electricians and vendors to ensure safe work environment.

SKILLS:

Qualifications
.Demonstrated ability and more than 10 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing of electrical systems.
.Possess well developed problem solving skills. Display professional attitude, motivation and initiative.
.Good understanding of electrical principles and ability to properly and safely size and specify electrical components.
.Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems and input/output hardware.
.Ability to read, verify and modify electrical drawings, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation drawings, loop and ladder diagrams.
.Follow safe work practices and support safety goals and objectives. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of electrical codes and standards.
.Good communication and administrative skills. Ability to organize and maintain equipment files and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
.Basic computer skills. Maintain electronic documents and logs, navigate file structures, edit and format spreadsheet, word and Powerpoint documents.
.Ability to edit, print and maintain drawings in AutoCAD is preferred.
