Description
Candle are seeking an intermediary to senior level end-to-end Java Developer for twelve month contract based on the North Shore!
This Government Department have an integrated environment and candidates with strong MicroSoft development skills would be highly regarded for this role.
Working in a friendly and professional team, you will be deployed on a range of web and online based projects.
You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and maintaining bespoke solutions.
In terms of technical skill set, here is a list in descending order of importance.
Mandatory
- Java, any UI technology such as JSP, JSF, ADF
- Database interfaces such as JPA, Hibernate
Experience in one of these two sets strongly preferred and preference will be given to candidates who satisfy this requirement
- .Net, C#, Visual Studio, WCF
- Oracle OBIEE - or - other Business Intelligence (BI) technology
Nice to have
- XML, XSD, XSLT
- SOAP and/or RESTFUL web services
- SOA Design
- Testing frameworks such as JUNIT or TestNG
