Our client is a leading Energy business who are embarking on a large MI transformation. The vision is to develop the reporting capability of the business to a best in class model that will enable a more efficient measurement of the businesses performance and improve the commonality of data across the various departments and divisions.
The Head of Business Partnering is a crucial role and is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders from the Business and Shared Service functions to consult on their MI needs to support them in achieving their business goals and the wider company strategic priorities. Once the true business need is identified the partnering team will then work with their development and ops colleagues to develop, deliver and roll out best in class MI reporting solutions.
Working as a lead member of the MI Transformation team responsible for changing the mind set and culture of the team and wider business to embed information into the decision making of the company. Supporting the overall team and playing a lead role in the wider MI transformation to create a best in class capability and implementing a new target operating model.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a career dedicated to MI/BI development and have a number of case examples of develop such reporting models with a wide range of stakeholder communities some at a very senior level.
In addition they will have:
- Significant experience working in a B2B MI and reporting environment and leading teams in those areas
- Strong understanding of Information Management and reporting leading practice and its practical application in diverse environments.
- Deep understanding of business systems, process analysis and design.
- Significant experience of people management, development and mentoring
- Ideally business and technical consultancy skills to provide a consultative engagement approach to support effective implementations
- Experience setting up and leading an MI focused business partnering teams in a number of large or medium sized organisations
