Job Description:

  • The Consultant will be primarily concerned with the strategy, structure, management and operations of the Security Assurance of the C4I Program.
  • The Information Assurance/Cyber Security Expert shall be used to provide strategic guidance to the with regard to Security Assurance technology, infrastructures and the enablement of major upgrades or new technologies through enhancements to existing security infrastructure. Consultant can also be used to provide guidance dur­ing selection and procurement as well providing highly expert technical assistance, and may be responsible for training and feedback.
  • The Information Assurance/Cyber Security Expert The successful candidate will take business-and mission-requirements and guide strategy development, security and feasibility assessments, enterprise architecture component identification, and also drive the implementation of cyber security, information assurance, access, and audit control solutions
  • Experienced in two or more of the following areas:
    IT security standards and pro-cesses, cyber security policy, cyber security governance, information assurance, security reciprocity, cloud-based security architectures.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Familiarity with existing security management organizations and solutions within the federal government departments and agencies, on unclassified systems, Na­tional Security Systems, and intelligence community systems.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues, and working knowledge of relevant federal and international organizations working is-sues related to IT Security and Information Assurance, and Audit.
  • Familiarity with cyber security as it relates to critical infrastructure and key resources threats and vulnerabilities; knowledge of industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with classified sharing and safeguarding functions within the Federal CIO Council, the 1C CIO Council, and the Committee on National Security Sys­tems (CNSS).
  • Analytical capabilities and discipline to identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for supporting ISE mission business processes and requirements; ability to integrate technical requirements and standards with mission/business requirements and standards.
  • Comfortable working in high-tempo Office environment, and able to adjust to dynamic political challenges.
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community IT Transformation plans.
  • CISSP or ISSM certification.
