OSS Support Engineer- MOBILE TELECOMS

I have an opportunity for an experienced OSS Support Engineer within mobile telcoms on a contract basis based in Boulogne-Billancourt (Just outside of Paris) for a leading telecoms provider.

As the OSS Support Engineer your responsibilities will include;

  • Provide Level 2 OSS Support to customers.
  • Manage the problem report until resolution following the customer process and according to SLA's.
  • Execute investigation and troubleshooting plans to identify the root cause of any issue raised on the network.
  • Manage technical requests from the customer with the global technical support team and R&D experts.
  • Day to day customer management to handle customer concerns with the highest reactivity to avoid escalations.
  • Technical issue explanation with root cause analysis.
  • Providing daily/weekly reports to the management team.
  • Handle communication of technical subjects.
  • Interface with other internal departments.

Experience required for the role;

  • Experience in the Wireless OSS Customer Operational Support or Field Validation and operation.
  • Good experience of IP/COBRA/SNMP protocols analysis and operational troubleshooting.
  • GSM and UTRAN E2E network skills
  • Team working skills
  • Proficient with OSS Tools
  • Fluent in the French and the English language.
