Middleware Engineer £200 - £300 - Contract - 6 months - Investment Bank - London
My client is a global investment bank in need of a talented Middleware Engineer for a 6 Month rolling contract.
The successful Middleware Engineer will ideally come from an investment banking background and have recently been involved on supporting Sharepoint and .NET development/Scripting projects.

- Advanced Technical Skills essential for the role
- Sharepoint (Mandatory)
- .NET development/Scripting (Mandatory)
- Windows Server; RedHat Linux
- (core) WebSphere Application Server
- JMS
- (core) IBM HTTP Server or Apache, Tomcat, Microsoft IIS
- SSL Certificate Management (openssl, keytool)
- JACL/Jython Scripting (nice to have)
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Microsoft Project
Desirable Qualifications/Experience and Technical Skills
- Technical Skills desirable for the role include:
- HP Operation Orchestration
- Documentum
- WebTrends
- Microsoft Certifications
- Business Objects
- Oracle or MS SQL Server
- Shell Scripting (bash, csh, ksh)
- Other JEE platforms such as JBoss, Weblogic Server
- AppWatch and QPasa
- Infrastructure standards for Servers, networks and storage
- Good understanding of Web Services model
- Previously used ServiceNow as a Service Desk Management product
- Knowledge of Process & Quality management, ITIL v2/v3
- Knowledge of Atlasian Jira Project Management toolset
