Visual Designer
If you have a strong Visual Design background with B2B experience, who enjoys working on exciting projects and in an environment which appreciates the value of Visual Design and Interaction Design, this opportunity may be worth exploring. Based in state of the art HQ, in Dublin CC. Initial 6 month daily rate contract, this will continue to roll/extend.
Experience
- 6+ years experience in the design of interactive media and hold a degree in user experience, design or a related discipline.
- Portfolio: Showcase of diverse projects across interactive media that has obvious flair, attention to detail and stylistic breadth. Your designs will show a deep understanding of visual hierarchy, branding, type and info-graphics. Craft graphic elements, assets, and visual treatments that adapt and flow with responsive design systems. Demonstrate broad experience in Interactive media, preferably covering web, mobile and tablet work.
- Tools: You have mastered standard web & graphic design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc. You will partner with Front End developers and create HTML and CSS-friendly designs
- You get UX: You understand the benefits of user centered design and are comfortable working alongside user experience & research professionals in the design process. You can translate a wireframe into a stunning visual design without being too constrained by the framework design the wireframe represents.
- Communicator: You are comfortable making complex design decisions clear and understandable to non-designers. When you explain your work, people are persuaded and understand why the design is as it is.
- Technology savvy: You have a solid knowledge of web and mobile technologies and a clear understanding of how design translates into working code.
Bonus skills: if you were able to translate your designs into working HTML and CSS prototypes. Working knowledge of JavaScript would be better still.
This is a Hybrid role (Visual - Interaction - Prototype design) with a particular emphasis on Visual Design.

You love working in a start-up like and innovative environments. You have designed enterprise applications in the past and have a solid portfolio. You also love designing print ready material, video animations and make presentations look stunning!
Join a well-established multidisciplinary User Experience team to establish design direction for products and communicate those standards effectively. Work to rapidly prototype ideas to demonstrate new systems as part of the group's insights discovery and design thinking efforts.
