Description
My client in the North East require a contract Mechanical Engineer to start in September.The purpose of the role is to supervise site contractors to ensure completion of all mechanical commissioning activities.
Duties will include:
- technical reviews
- directing outside contractors
- reviewing Method statements
- accepting Risk Assessments
- technical support to commissioning phase of projects
- supervise pipe welding
- liaising with on site engineers and Commissioning Manager
Experience and Qualifications Required
- HNC/HND
- Leading mechanical team in Oil and Gas/Power/Petecem environment
- Process systems
- Rotating equipment
- Engineering materials and manufacturing techniques
Contract
- Starting September 1st until end of the year
- Rate depednant upon experience
- 37.5 standard hours, potential for up to 60 with overtime
- EU work permit required as sponsorship is not available
