Description:
The main function of a project/program manager - IT is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. An entry level project/program manager - IT typically has a Bachelors degree in a computer related major with broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies. As the levels progress, the years experience increase along with leadership expectations, with the introduction of a supervisory role at Level 2. The technical skills, including using computer technology to meet the needs of the organization, increase across levels, starting from basic at Level 1 to expert at Level 3.
Responsibilities:
BUSINESS CONTEXT :
Facilitating requirements analysis and requirements documents, the Project Manager is responsible for a number of projects/demands of his business, works as single point of contact, and reports progress and status. Projects for MSO (address recognition).
MAIN TASKS :
The Project Manager is the end-responsible for delivering a qualitative project within budget and timing, according to the ICT methodology valid within client.
• New project
• Mitigate project risk by proactively recognizing and communicating challenges, managing changes and providing contingency plans that enable customer success.
• Assure that engagements are delivered in accordance with ICT's Implementation Methodology to ensure successful execution and overall customer satisfaction.
• Seek continually opportunities to increase Customer Satisfaction and deepen client relationships by interacting effectively at all levels of the client organization.
Technical skills:
- Certified PMI or Prince II ;
- Scrum;
- Strong technical background : must have a strong IT knowledge and experience to challenge technical people. PM technically skilled, able to closely collaborate with technically skilled people;
- Strong knowledge of Webservices and SOA;
- In house java development projects
Personal skills:
- Very strong requirements engineering skills;
- Understand client requirements and design;
- Strong project management skills;
- The person must be able to work independently;
- Proactive;
- Communicator;
- Customer oriented;
- Performance driven.
LANGUAGES :
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French with at least excellent understanding of the other language;
- Fluent spoken & written English is mandatory (both written & spoken).
