SAS Analyst - Dublin - Contract - 6months - £NegotiableMy client is a leading financial institution that are seeking a SAS Consultant to work at their site based in Dublin. The rate is dependant on candidates experience.
Responsibilities:
- Actively consider the inherent, material risks of the business/organisation. Analyse the risk profile and seek confirmation that the risks are being appropriately identified, assessed and mitigated to the desired level (i.e. within Risk Appetite).
- Establish and deploy robust risk and control frameworks which meet the strategic needs of the Group, including communication, training and awareness of these frameworks.
- Provide expert support and advice to the business on the management of the risks which are overseen or controlled. This includes interpreting and complying with the relevant risk policy standards and risk management framework.
- Conduct suitable assurance to ensure 1st line compliance with policies/responsibilities. Provide senior executive with relevant management information and reports and escalates concerns where appropriate.
Skills & Experience:
- Good experience with SAS 9.3 particularly complex modelling as well as Enterprise Miner.
- Strong background within the financial sector.
- Good communication skill and ability to work in a team.
