Oracle DBA - Dublin
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to assist our team with supporting and our clients own Oracle Database environments.
This is a Full time fixed term contract for 12 months. Our existing team comprises of an Oracle expert who requires support in installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and project work.
* Have in excess of 5 years Production Oracle Database Server Administration experience having acted in a DBA position.
* Have worked with multiple versions of the Oracle product set and completed an upgrade between versions in a production environment.
* Be able to work as part of a team and independently when required.
* Be a good problem solver with an analytical approach to resolving issues.
* Have a recognised formal qualification in Information Technology.
* Have exposure and experience with Unix, Linux and Windows Operating Systems and virtualisation technologies.
* Have gained Oracle OCP certifications (preferably 10g and/or 11g).
* SQL Server experience, Oracle Weblogic and dataguard expertise is required
This is an excellent opportunity for 12 months working on a blend of project & support orientated activities.
