I have a great long term Fixed Term contract (6 months) for a BI Developer to come in and take up a challenging role.
It is an exciting opportunity to add to your development skills and also liaise with the stakeholders to ensure effective implementation
The role involves:
- Managing daily operations such as reporting, file handling, data reports and SSIS
- Development and implementation of new functionalities to a range of databases. Assessment and improvement of otnt of the current solution is required
- Ensure up-to-date and relevant reports are available to the business.
- Facilitation of workshops and solution reviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Training of the key end users on the database changes and communicating new development
- Developing a good understanding of the CRM database, marketing database and be the SME for the database
- Manage the UAT function for MIS changes, including managing business testers and management
- Create standardized reports, data cubes and enabling the business to achieve reporting self sufficiency
To be considered for the role you will possess:
- Experience developing with Microsoft SQL server 2012
- Experience developing with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience developing with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience developing with SQL Server Analyst Services (SSAS)
- Proven experience in Microsoft programming language
- Version Management and Release Management experience
- Experience of all SQL Server stack applications relating to BI and DWH
- Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office packages
- An understanding of business needs and ability to make informed recommendations
- You must possess a Degree or higher qualification (ideally in ICT)
The role pays a maximum of 110k (including Super per annum) depending on experience. It is a fixed term contract.
