Your function:
As an engineer in the Algorithm Design domain you are responsible for the definition and realization of new video processing concepts and algorithms within the video chain of a TV. These algorithms will be applied to improve the Picture Quality and Ambilight experience of our high end TV's.

- Follow closely new technology trends in the market related to your domain
- Invent new concepts related to Picture Quality and Ambilight.
- Development of new algorithms in Matlab and C/C++ for Picture Quality and Ambilight
- Improving the existing algorithms and concepts
- Improving the integration of algorithms and concepts on system level
- Understanding and improving the user interaction with the TV in the area of Picture Quality and Ambilight
- Doing user experience tests to validate your algorithms
- You have integral design responsibility for the assigned part from requirements specification to prototype implementation.
- You take care of the design and optimization of algorithms and concepts (towards performance, reliability, marketability, testability and cost).
Your profile:
- You have a Master's degree or PhD in Electronics, Software engineering, Physics or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in algorithm development
- Strong interest in the field of video processing.
- Strong interest in optics and display technology
- Creative, practical, strong conceptual thinker, analytical and good problem solving skills.
- You are familiar with C/C++, Matlab, VHDL design, Embedded software development
- Team player with good communicative skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
- Motivated and eager to learn in order to become expert in your domain
