We're urgently looking for a SENIOR Network Engineer

Description :
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
High level support to the Support Analysts (Level 1,2 & 3) and end users in case of non-routine problems (e.g. software buIT, hardware buIT, hardware problems, configuration problems etc.)
- Creation of standard procedures on behalf of the daily operational environment to offer solutions for problems and actions that can be solved on a routine basis
- Development, screening and maintaining current and new network tools
- Initiate and cooperate in network improvement, installation and migration projects
- Design new infrastructure solutions, and you introduce new applications, taking our client's Standards and Strategy, the expectations of customers an their budgets into account
- You will work on Projects in which you maintain professional contacts with customers and IT Professionals in order to analyze their needs and transform them into concrete and feasible actions. On the one hand guarding that these fit the general strategy of the company and on the other hand making sure that the supplied service meets the agreements in the form of Service Level Agreements between IT Customer Services and the customer Non-Technical profile requirements
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- Occasional project related travel is possible
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

• The Build department is responsible for development, standardization and support of the our client's network environment in EMEA
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Development and support of the network environment in EMEA
• High level support to the Network Operation Engineers, Helpdesk and end users in case of non-routine problems (e.g. software bugs, hardware bugs, hardware problems, configuration problems etc.)
• Creation of standard procedures (SOP?S) on behalf of the daily operational environment to offer solutions for problems and actions that can be solved on a routine basis
• Design new infrastructure solutions, and you introduce new applications, taking the Standards and Strategy, the expectations of customers and their budgets into account
Technical skills:
CCNA level or preferable CCNP
- Cisco WLAN
- Cisco switches
- Cisco routers
- TCP/IP, DHCP, Vlans
- EIGRP, BGP
- Cisco WLAN
A broad experience in networking, preferably in large international environments.
Experienced in solving IP network issues in both WAN and LAN environments.
Strong in project documentation, communication and presentation skills
Personal skills:
- Some flexibility in working hours is required
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines.
- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred Language proficiencies
- English spoken and written
- Dutch is a plus
