Description
Our client is searching for an FPGA engineer to assist in the design and development of real-time embedded FPGA systems. The successful candidate will join a team involved in the design and development of embedded real-time digital signal processing systems using FPGAs. These real-time processing systems are envisioned to be flexible, scalable, and capable of meeting present and future computing requirements.The successful candidate will participate in the implementation of real-time signal processing for advanced sensor systems. The candidate will also be participating in designing parallelized numerical crunching micro-architectures of algorithms described in Matlab.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required
- BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or physics
- Minimum three years overall relevant experience
- In particular, must have at least 3 years hands-on design experience with high performance embedded systems of large scale Xilinx Virtex 6/7 FPGAs
- Familiarity with RTL VHDL design methodology
- Ability to perform resource and timing optimization with Xilinx tools
- Must be experienced with using 1/10 GigE, memory controller, and embedded multipliers
- System level (interface) verification experience is strongly desired
- Radar and image processing experience is desirable
