Description
The contract will involve several distinct projects. The first involves generating a supply chain for medical devices such as pumps and neurostimulators. The second is a portfolio phase which deals with reviewing design history files for these devices and making complex design changes where necessary. The third involves utilizing CAPA (Corrective Action Preventative Action) to respond to any FDA regulations. All this will take place within the Neuromodulation Unit of the company, which is currently the fastest growing business unit within the company.This is an exciting time to join a growing team within an established, well-known company. This position will allow a candidate to gain market-leading skills, and could potentially lead to management roles in the future.
The best candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent mix of education and experience
- Medical device experience
- Documentations skills, ability to write Engineer Change Orders (ECO's)
- Firm understanding of test plans, ability to defend decisions with engineering rationale
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack up, and stress testing
- The drive to go above and beyond, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
