Network Engineer required for small government agency for a minimum of 12 months.

This position will be located near Civic and see you working with a small team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with design, review and implementation of a national network.
  • Assist with project transition to BAU
  • It is a requirement of this role that you are an Australian citizen with an existing NV1 level clearance.

Skills:-

  • Implementation, migration, upgrade and support in secure IP, WAN. Network solutions; secure routing, proxies and Firewalls.
  • Interface disparate networks and test interoperability between associated entities.
  • Report writing - Word and Excel
  • Visio
  • Implementation ISM compliant networks
  • Cisco Routers and Firewalls, Cisco DMVPNs, proxies and other IPSEC type skills
  • Able to ensure physical and logical security, implement broadband national WANs.

Qualifications:-

Formal qualifications along with hands on experience in network infrastructure (implementation and support) highly advantageous.

Use your ability to perform network analysis and network troubleshoot to deliver results to this federal government agency in Canberra.
