Vantage Resources are currently recruiting for a Virtualisation VMware Specialist.
Your role as a VMware virtualization Specialist is to assess the existing the virtualization environment, recommend changes/optimisations to the environment to support the business going forward.
Skills Required:
Technical Architectural skills
Experience of designing and implementing enterprise class cloud based solutions
In depth knowledge of VMware cloud products
Experience of HA and DR technologies across multiple data centres.
Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and consulting skills
Customer and business orientated
Configure, monitoring and management all aspects of the VMware VSphere environment
Desirable Skills:
Experience of multiple hypervisor technologies, specifically HyperV and SCVMM would be beneficial
Experience of deploying cloud based solutions within secure environments
Experience of automated cloud based provisioning, self-service and charging
Experience of integrating cloud based alerts and monitors with other Enterprise Management toolsets
Experience of SAN technologies
