My client, an elite investment bank, located in Stamford, CT is looking to add a Financial Reporting Analyst to their expanding team. This is an initial six month contract with a favorable chance of permanent placement paying between $50 and $60 per hour depending on experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting current processes and data elements for reporting. Compare current reporting elements with Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Intermediate Holding Companies (IHC) reporting templates. Working in collaboration with the various business line personnel to review reporting processes, reports, data extracts and templates to develop a detailed data map for subject matter experts and senior management.
Requirements:
Candidates will need 5+ years of experience and will need to have very hands on experience working with P&L's and Balance Sheets. The individual will need to know how a P&L is put together. They will need to map out the current feeds that bring the existing data into the P&L so current state of it's production is fully mapped. Very strong excel skills, proficient in VLookups, Pivot Tables, Macro's and some VBA.
