My Client are a leadinf E-Commerce fashion and lifestyle retailer and are undergoing a period of rapid expansion due to a massive growth of sales and successful rebranding.Two months ago I recruited a frontend developer to join their team, now I am looking for one more!!
The roles is outlined as follows;
Key Responsibilities:
As the senior Mobile Developer, your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of mobile websites and iOS/Android apps.
You'll also be responsible for
- Providing accurate timing estimates on work
- Managing your projects and product backlog
- Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)
- Train other non technical staff particularly designers
- Contributing to the company development standards working closely with development colleagues
- Discussing technical solutions with colleagues and providing innovative new ideas to solutions.
- Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.
- Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your markets developments.
Knowledge / Background / Experience:
- 3 Years of commercial and / or non-commercial work or a very strong portfolio.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Consumer facing, mass market, networked, high-volume/performance applications
- An impressive portfolio of live mobile web sites and web apps
- Extensive experience of Mobile Web Development
- Advanced HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX on mobile devices
- Detailed knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of mobile browser implementations
- Experience with JavaScript tools - e.g. debuggers
- Knowledge of industry standard frameworks
- Knowledge of other programming languages: Java, PHP
