Description
My client is a small software company in the centre of Glasgow. They are looking for a web developer to join their existing team.Role:
Web based development using ASP.NET MVC 3 or later, with an understanding of web based presentation technologies, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX;
- A detailed understanding of MVC and the Razor compiler;
- Windows based development using XAML based technologies such WPF with MVVM technologies such as PRISM or Windows 8 Modern UI and Windows Phone 7/8 development
The ideal C#.NET Developer will have in depth experience with C#, .NET 3.5 or 4, ASP.NET and SQL Server as well as a good understanding of ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, NHibernate.
Previous experience working for a consultancy would be highly beneficial.
As well as having experience of the full development lifecycle including design, development, test, implementation and support you will also have experience of Software build and release management, Testing and Trouble shooting and support activities.
