Operational Risk Officer

Our client, a Financial Services organisation, has a requirement for an Operational Risk Officer to support the Divisional Director in discharging operational risk management accountabilities through coordinating the design, implementation and operation of appropriate risk oversight, management and controls assurance mechanisms within the business area.

Experience

  • Educated to degree level and/or hold a relevant professional qualification
  • Good knowledge of the Financial Services sector
  • Good appreciation of governance issues, operational risk management concepts and methodologies, coupled with practical experience of implementing operational risk and control management processes, for example in a role managing an operational unit
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, influencing and conflict management skills
