Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing an Exploration Geologist. This is a brand new position with an independent oil and gas producer who is active in multiple areas throuhout the US. - Identify new prospect locations for multi-rig drilling programs with empahasis on lease peservation
- Assist lead geologist in area mapping and prospecting as needed
- Responsible for simple operational duties such as the maintenance of drilling schedules and the monitoring and/or geo-steering of wells as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Geology required
- 10+ years experience in oil and gas Exploration & Production
- Solid computer skills and experience in GeoGraphix and/or Petra, Enerdeq, Drilling Wire, & Microsoft Office
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and oral)
