Embedded C/DSP/WLAN/RF/3GPPEmbedded Software Engineer - Permanent - Reading
Embedded software engineer required for a network efficiency company based in Reading. The role will see the successful candidate further evolve and enhance the current software, working on new and existing products.
Length: Permanent
Salary: £65,000
Location: Reading
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
- Further evolve and enhance the company's geolocation capability
- Algorithm design, validation and demonstration.
- Collaboration with other functional areas, in particular in conveying new solutions and proposals.
- Work within the research team, and getting involved with customer facing opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Embedded C
- Knowledge and understanding of 3GPP, Bluetooth and UWB RAN technologies.
- Strong experience of 802.11 WLAN RF Technology, particularly the physical layer.
- DSP
- C#/C++/.Net platform
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of geolocation of devices in radio networks an advantage.
- Experience of Android App or WebGL development desirable
- Experience with WIFI, or at least an interest in it.
- Degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline, such as mathematics, engineering, or computer science.

The role is suitable for a candidate which is comfortable working as part of a team, as well as the ability to work alone and potentially project manage.
